Mrs. Zielke and Mrs. Olsen’s 8th grade ELA class celebrated the “Ceremony of the 12” after reading chapter 7 of
The Giver. Every student was given an “assignment” and had to defend the choice or make an argument for a different job in the community.
Last week, CMS Counselors organized a Springtime Social lunch event for 100 students. They enjoyed nachos, music, and won prizes for participating in games like three-legged, potato sack races, and tug of war. #spartansrock

We hosted our 3rd annual Health and Wellness Fair to promote health and wellness on our campus. We partnered with local community organizations and Oak Hills High School's Mental Health Club to make this happen for our students. We had 18 booths set up for our students to visit and receive giveaways. Students were entered into a raffle for their participation

On Mar 22, 2024, CMS Counselors hosted an Eggstravaganza lunchtime activity to kick off Spring Break. Students enjoyed nachos, and music, and won prizes for participating in an egg and spoon race, three-legged race, and potato sack race.

Cedar Middle School’s SMAART Program students attended the Secure The B.A.G (Behavior Attendance Grades) Conference sponsored by the Young Visionaries at Victorville Valley College. The students participated in workshops on achievement, goal setting, wellness, and entrepreneurship.

Our life skills / mod Severe class had a great time at the civic park plaza yesterday! Money was earned by working the Crazy Teacher Cafe & our students had the opportunity to attend the theatres admission free.
